Hanging out with friends

     I forgot how much fun hanging out with friends is.  I have been working all the time that I don't remember what having fun with other people is like.  That is the life unfortunately of a 911 dispatcher.

Valentines day

   I couldn't celebrate Valentine's day on the 14th like everyone else because I had to work.  But last night my fiancee and I went out for dinner to celebrate.  We went to a restaurant called Catches.  The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing. 

Flowers

     My fiancee and I went to some local florists yesterday.  We got a couple ideas while in the stores and will be making appointments next week or the week after to sit down with a consultant to get more information and estimates on how much it will cost.  I never realized how much time and energy goes into planning a wedding.

struggle of dieting

     I have only been on my diet for a couple weeks but it is really hard.  I want to eat what I want to eat or over eat on things I shouldn't eat.  But I am determined to stay on track and loose this extra weight I gained.

New Car

     I got a new/used car with my tax return.  So I am now able to once again drive and have some independence.  I got a 2002 VW Beetle.  I absolutely love it.  Today my fiancee went out and bought a new radio and speakers for it.

Starting night shift

     Starting tonight or tomorrow depending how you look at it.  I start night shift.  Don't get me wrong.  I love night shift.  The only draw back is going to be having a partially no social life.

Food Poisoning

     So I got food poisoning from some bad sushi yesterday and had to call out of work today.  But the good news for yesterday is that i finally have a car and the only things that need to be done is to get is insured and registered.  I'm so excited.  Oh and what I got was a used 2002 VW beetle.
