lazy day

Today was just a lazy day.  My fiancee is practicing his guitar and I am just enjoying the day and the weekend.

Wanting to start sewing again

    I have decided that I wanted to take up sewing again.  Ever since I made the Frozen blanket for my niece.  I want to start making more.  I already have a pattern for both my fiancee and my costumes for Nero that we want to try to go to.  But I also want to try my hand at making a gypsy costume for halloween and the Renaissance fair that is in Tampa every year.  I also want to try my hand at making cosplays.  Eventually if I get really good set up and Etsy shop like one of my friends and maybe start selling some of my work.  I just have to save up the money to buy the supplies I will need to get this started.  Wish me luck.

Radiator

Nothing says Merry Christmas than the radiator going out on my car.  My fiance and his father are working on getting it working again.

Blanket 2

     Got the fabric that I need for Madison's blanket.  I'm so excited about getting started on it.  I also found some left over fabric from some other projects and I plan to use for a border around the blanket.

I am excited to get paid this week because I get to go buy the materials I need to make my nieces blanket.  She is in love with the movie Frozen so I am going to be making a Frozen blanket for her.  I will post a picture when it is done.

Swap Meet

     Went to a swap meet in Sumter County today.  It was amazing.  There were vendors there that were selling all kinds of things (mostly car parts which made my fiancee happy lol).  I found a few vendors selling other items.  I found one vendor that was selling purses and wallets and I saw a purse I liked but did not get because my current purse is still good.  There was also a car show with all sorts of classic cars there.  The thing I like is that it is a monthly thing and if I have the day off next month I'm definitely going again.
    After that we found a restaurant by the Withlocochee river just over the county line from Sumter into Hernando County.  I believe it was called Ratz Cafe.  The food was amazing.  We found that the restaurant had a boat launch into the river and as long as we don't have a boat we can launch the canoe we have from there.
     So today was a very good day and I hope to have more to write about in the coming days.
